Milana

Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub is an American actress, comedian and activist. She was born to Jewish parents from the Soviet Union and started her career as a child actor after she moved to the United States. In AT&T commercials on television she played the character of Lily Adams (saleswoman) from 2013 until 2016 and into until 2020. She was a regular host of the Yahoo! Screen science-fiction show Other Space (2015). She also had a regular role in the NBC drama This Is Us 2016-2017. Vayntrub was initially cast as the character Squirrel Girls in Marvel Rising's unaired pilot for New Warriors in 2018, has voiced the character since. Vayntrub was born in Tashkent, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic, USSR, and is Jewish. Her parents, who were both at the age of two, came to America as refugees from antisemitism. They settled in West Hollywood. She began performing in Mattel Barbie commercials at the age of five, due to the financial difficulties of her family. Vayntrub briefly was a student at Beverly Hills High School. However, she dropped out of her sophomore year and obtained an GED. After that she went on to earn an Associate of Arts degree in Communication from University of California San Diego. Vayntrub studied improv comedy in the Upright Citizens Brigade.
